Roche's Trypsin Recombinant, Proteomics Grade is a highly purified protease especially designed for the digestion of proteins separated by 2-D gel electrophoresis or liquid chromatographic methods in the course of sample preparation for mass spectrometry. The enzyme is free of contamination from other proteases, and features high specific activity and a reproducible cleavage pattern, leading to faster digestions and more accurate identification of proteins in mass spectrometry.
