It’s aimed at recruiters, job seekers and higher education establishments and seeks to further the mobility of researchers throughout the European Research Area.
This year the Career Fair has partnered with the London Biotechnology Network, Association Bernard Gregory and ScienceCareers to put on a special Career Fair Open Day to be held on Wednesday 8th October at BioCity, a dedicated careers area inside the EuroBiO Exhibition. The Career Fair Open Day will put the accent on alternative careers (to the laboratory), and the multiple talents that biotechnology companies require to grow their business. Candidates with the minimum of a Masters Degree in Sciences (or final year PhD) will be able to introduce themselves to recruiters, without prior appointment, and recruiters subsequently will be able to offer one-to-one interviews in booths to those profiles that correspond to their requirements. The Open Day seminars will be looking at alternative science careers such as journalism, degrees for managing biotechnology companies, and concrete measures that facilitate the mobility of researchers. Candidate registration also includes access to the exhibition which showcases Life Sciences stakeholders and leading BioClusters from across the world, the challenging EuroBiO Plenaries, the forward-looking Presenting Company sessions... and networking breaks!
